Oracle Apps DBA – Perm – £65k + Bens – Berkshire

Evolve ERP have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Oracle Apps DBA to join a growing 3rd party support company.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving Cloud Operations issues (OCI, Azure or AWS)
Providing estimates for change (without supervision), including full life cycle in the system from incident to delivery of the solution via change
Leading customer meetings
Consulting with customers as a billable resource, engaging with customers to determine their business requirements as required at Director, Senior Management and Project team level
Providing consulting expertise and cost-effective delivery of fit for purpose solutions that best meet customer requirements
Taking a lead on various projects (upgrades, implementations or migrations)
Translating and designing customer requirements into workable solutions

About You

In-depth experience in Oracle E-business Suite (R12/11i) and Oracle Database Core Technology, including RAC, ASM and DataGuard
Exposure to Cloud Operations experience (OCI, Azure or AWS)
Proficient in Shell Scripting
Proficient O/S skills (Linux/Unix/Windows)
Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and/or Oracle Application Server
Experience of installing/configuring/supporting Discoverer (10g or 11g)
Strong knowledge and experience of working on complex database and application issues
End-end project involvement experience (upgrades, implementations or migrations)
